You should only deactivate a project if your organization is no longer implementing the activities described or is no longer able to fundraise on GlobalGiving. In most other cases, we recommend updating your existing project or creating a new project instead of deactivating one.
If you decide to deactivate a project, please follow these steps:
Log in to your GlobalGiving account. If you’ve forgotten your password, follow the password recovery instructions.
On your Organization Dashboard, locate the project you wish to deactivate and click “Deactivate Project.”
Select your final project report to send to donors.
Choose a project to which any existing recurring donations should be transferred.
Click Submit. Your project will become inactive shortly thereafter.
